The Classic IQ Test
What's Your IQ?

Congratulations, Jim!
Your IQ score is 129
mathematician

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Frankly, I am not sure what to do with this information now that I have it. The test was too easy except near the very end on 2 questions. I think I got around 175 before an another IQ test a long time ago from a different source (college, I think). The college test I took had more visual stuff if I remember right (this was about 1987 I think). Maybe the tests are just scored different or something. I also remember the IQ test seeming harder when I took it at the college. If you've been through a 2-year community college you could probably ace this test. Even if you haven't, if you're any good at math & some basic logic you could still probably ace this test. Or maybe get a decent score on any IQ test (unless you're shooting for Mensa). If you are shooting for the Mensa level stuff, normal IQ tests would probably bore you. By the way, there's a 30-minute mental workout with 30 questions you can tinker with on their site (not an IQ test). I never figured I was really all that smart. People say that I am - I just don't quite believe them. I make a lot of dumb mistakes. I can't even stand up on one leg and tie my shoe. And nobody that I can remember turns to me for direction in the workplace.
